Don't Think of an Elephant

Hasn't this year gone quickly? Is it my imagination or is time really speeding up? Whichever it is, 2008 is upon us already, and millions of us will reflect and steadfastly make high-flying new year resolutions which will mostly be shot down by the artillery of procrastination.

Never do today...

I know all about procrastination. I have turned it into an art form. I'm not sure but it could be the philosophy of someone who believes he is going to live well into three figures and has all the time in the world - my excuse and I'm sticking to it. However, statistics don't support this belief. They would proudly cling to the well-worn theory that in terms of longevity, children generally follow their parents. My father died at 70, which statistically gives me 7 years of life. But thanks to visionaries like Louise Hay, it is possible for me to buck the system, and it's all down to positive thinking, positive vocabulary, and how I react to situations.

The elephant and the 'F' word

Be honest, when you read the title did you automatically think of an elephant? I did when I first heard the spoken command. Most of us will do the same because the brain needs to go into immediate action to search the archives for an image of an elephant. The word "Don't" hasn't a prayer because it is essentially an invasion of our personal freedom of thought. and therefore we dismiss it. It's the same with the 'F' word. I'm referring to the word 'fear' of course, and the bible is full of examples ( 117 altogether ) where we are told not to fear. If we are told "Don't be afraid" the word we latch on to is 'afraid' because the brain gets the message that there is something to be afraid about. Then worry sets in and we no longer feel safe.

Imagine you are climbing a rock face with a friend who is more experienced in mountaineering. Halfway up your friend shouts down to you "Don't look down!" The compulsion to look down would be overwhelming, even though you have been told many times that it is psychologically unsafe to do so. If, on the other hand, your friend had said "Keep looking up!", you would have followed that order without the fear element because the word 'up' is the dominant one. I reckon there's enough adrenalin in rock climbing without adding to it. This is all about using positive commands instead of negative ones.

I am reminded of an old song which I believe was written by Willie Nelson:

You've got to accentuate the positive
Eliminate the negative
Latch on to the affirmative
And don't mess with Mr Inbetween

Shame about the last line but the general idea is good.

Happy positive thinking.

Sun God or the Son of God?

So you think Jesus Christ was born on 25th December?

Most experts conclude that Jesus Christ was not born in December at all but rather September. They say shepherds would not be tending their sheep on a cold winter's night. So why have we adopted December 25th as Christmas ( Christ Mass ) day?

Pagan Tradition and the Christian Takeover

When we look into man's pagan history it's not difficult to see why December was chosen. It is, after all, the month of the winter solstice, a day of great importance in pagan times. The 'sol' part means sun, and sun worship was the high point of man's existence. In addition, all the paraphernalia surrounding this worship, the Yule logs, the holly and ivy, the mistletoe and not forgetting the tree, are all pagan fertility symbols still in use today.

When in Rome

Around 350 AD the Romans were still chiefly pagan and Pope Julius 1 probably got orders from the top to increase subscription and rope in more converts to the faith. Then he had a brainwave. He didn't want to tell the people they could no longer worship their sun god. They would probably have rioted. So he simply superimposed new feast days on top of the existing ones. It worked! Everyone continued with their merrymaking whilst the Pope happily told them they were now honouring Jesus Christ. Perfect!

And now, when you go into a church and see the lighted candles, what you are really doing is paying homage to Mithras the sun god.

What do you make of Christmas?

Christmas seems to have many faces. One face is the face of great joy and happiness, and family get-togethers. Another face represents heartache and sorrow, the nadir in emotional turbulence. Yet another face is the face of enterprise and commerce with its miasma of sales, bargains, gadgets and gifts. Whole industries have mushroomed around it. The lights have their purpose too. They chase away the winter blues, thereby replacing the sun's weak winter light.

Christmas can be a roller coaster ride for families and individuals alike. According to the Samaritans, there is a greater potential for suicide at Christmas than at any other time of year. Why? Have we been indoctrinated so well by rose-tinted tradition, with fairy tale images of joy and happiness and the sound of Bing Crosby singing 'White Christmas'?

For those whose emotions are not so robust, these images can be a dangerous foray into fantasy. Like Cinderella, the clock must strike twelve at some point and then comes the reality shock. For some people it's too much.

I have another face for Christmas. It is the face of each individual looking in the mirror and saying to their reflection "I love you", and saying it with confidence and joy. It is the face of you and me loving ourselves for who we are regardless of where we come from or the colour of our skin. By doing this on a regular basis we are laying the foundations for loving other people. For we cannot love others until we have first learned to love ourselves. This has the potential to change the world. All we need is the will to do it.

A merry Christmas to my readers ( all three of you ) and a prosperous new year.

God:The Real Time Lord?

" day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day." (2 Peter 3:8 )

Time: Reality or Construct?

Does time exist in reality, or like the internet, is it a construct? Could it simply be an invention of man's imagination adopted for the procurement of power and stability?

The earth and moon have provided man with natural periods from their rotational cycles and he has successfully subdivided these ephemeral giants into pocket-sized chunks of time. Greenwich Mean Time was set up as absolute time to ensure that trains always ran on time. I have bad news for them. They failed!

A wealth of expressions has grown up around time. We talk about killing time, wasting time, that time and tide wait for no man. This suggests time is marching on inexorably and therefore we can't afford to relax for one moment. This means no time for meditation or reflection. No time for nature and the inner peace we so desperately need. The clock has become our god - our master rather than our servant.

Is time necessary?

The above scripture is curious. It appears to be as irrelevant as it is enigmatic. To say that a day is as a thousand years seems to imply that time is non-existent. Perhaps God is really saying "Hey! I don't need time. I'm timeless. I was here before the beginning of time and I shall still be here after the end of it."

Yet other scriptures are so time-oriented. One in particular has been popularised through song:

"To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under the heaven." (Ecclesiastes 3:1)

This is popular because it doesn't challenge anyone's comfort zone. It is a metaphor for the zeitgeist principle, the rise and fall of fashion, the vogue of human existence and the changing nature of life on earth. But we are told that God does not change.

Does this mean we have taken on board time as a false god? Have we drifted so far from the original blueprint, the God-given prototype of how we should live our lives? Or is God the real time lord, who can travel through a thousand years in one day?

It's your call!

Jonah and the Gourd

"Then said the Lord, 'Doest thou well to be angry?' (Jonah 4:4)

Anger and Judgement

The story goes that God told Jonah to preach to the people of Nineveh because of their 'wickedness'. But Jonah had other ideas and ran away to sea. The ship was struck by a great tempest and when it was discovered it was Jonah's doing, they threw him overboard. Jonah got swallowed by a whale where he had to stay for three days and nights. This 'punishment' for disobedience resulted in Jonah going to Nineveh after all.

God gave the people of Nineveh 40 days in which to change their ways. And they did, but Jonah was surely convinced that they were about to get their come-uppance. He went out of the city, built himself a booth and sat in it, like a ringside seat, waiting for the show to begin. When it became obvious it wasn't going to happen, Jonah became very angry. After all he had gone through, he was not going to be denied the satisfaction of witnessing the destruction of this great city.

The Need for Mercy

God needed to show Jonah what mercy was all about and prepared a gourd and "...made it come over Jonah that it might be a shadow over his head" (Jonah 4:6). Jonah was very glad of the gourd but God destroyed it with a worm in the night and its protection was gone.

The upshot of this was that Jonah felt sorry for the gourd but still angry about the fate of Nineveh. God used the gourd to teach Jonah that the destruction of Nineveh was not carved in stone and that mercy could replace judgement - that change could take place. "Thou hast had pity on the gourd for which thou hast not laboured, neither made it grow; which came up in a night and perished in a night." (Jonah 4:10) The parallel here is that God took pity on the city of Nineveh. How much greater were they than the lowly gourd?

Real-life Parallels

Have you ever been in a situation where you felt wronged by someone because of something they said or did? You felt bitter about it and secretly wished that poetic justice would take place to even things out. But instead, the other person prospered in some way. In reality this person was probably unaware of your feelings and would most likely have apologised later for the misdeed. If the two of you had got round the table and talked about it, the matter might have been resolved to everyone's satisfaction. Imagine the change that would take place in your mind, body and spirit following the resolution of such a situation. You can almost hear your Higher Self's sigh of relief during the eye-to-eye contact and the wave of serenity that has just replaced the tension of anger and judgement.

But this face-to-face scenario isn't always possible, like the driver who cuts you up forcing you to brake sharply. It's not easy to find mercy in your soul when this happens but by doing so you release yourself from the negative vibration which harms only you. It's worth the effort to practise this. After all, at some point, the other guy will repent. It may not be today or tomorrow or next year, but it will happen.

The Lot of Women: The Problem with Judgement

If you regard the scriptures objectively, and I hope you can, you will probably reach the point where you have to question certain things. You don't have to nail notices to church doors any more but it's still possible to cause a stir by asking questions which challenge fundamentally basic and accepted beliefs and dogmas. You may love or loathe the challenge but if you are looking in from without, you can make up your own mind without judgement, which is what this post is chiefly about.

My Revelation

This article assumes that you can adopt an open mind about God or whatever you feel represents God in the scheme of your belief. I found that the more I studied the scriptures, the more I was led to question the reasons why certain things happened, always with the understanding that I was looking at the situation with modern and educated eyes. I found myself looking at the "judgement" aspect of the bible and making the earth-shattering discovery that if there is a God at all, he would never ever judge anyone.

The Sodom and Gomorrah Story

I could choose any part of any of the books from the old and new testaments but I've found Genesis a rich tapestry from which arguments may be drawn. In particular, the story of Lot's wife has intrigued me as an example of how women have been devalued like coins of the realm. But before Lot's wife became the salt of the earth, there was the small matter of Lot's daughters.

Lot showed hospitality to two men (angels) at the gate but some men of Sodom came demanding to "know" the angels (meaning they wanted to have sex with them). Lot refused. So far, so good. But then amazingly he told the Sodomites that they could have his two daughters instead! "Behold now, I have two daughters which have not known man..." (Gen 19:8 ) Excuse me! Stand up the modern father who would willingly sacrifice his virgin daughters to complete strangers for the sake of other complete strangers. Would the girls have had any say in the matter? I think not.

The Wife with No Name

The bible does not tell us the name of Lot's wife, which is interesting because names are of paramount importance. Names represent an identity. No name - no identity. Then Noname, as I shall call her, sealed her fate by looking back at the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah and you know the rest. The point is that she was judged. What was her crime? What kind of justice was that? Why should Noname die along with all the inhabitants of these towns? It's all down to this thing called judgement.

Judgement is Flawed

My research has led me to the conclusion that a nation or community can only evolve, spiritually or otherwise, if they treat their women-folk fairly and as equals. If you can think of such a nation or community, please let me know. I'd love to hear from you. It would be wrong to think that we, in the West, can pat ourselves on the back whilst looking eastward. That would amount to judgement.

God judged no one, least of all Noname. God didn't judge the people of Sodom and Gomorrah either. They judged themselves and found themselves guilty. In so doing they brought about their own destruction. It is possible that Noname felt guilty about what was happening and judged herself. Man is the only judge, and over the millennia he has turned it into an art form - but flawed. Flawed because judgement cannot be anything else. If we could only learn to love ourselves, and therefore others, we would not need to judge at all. And the world would be a happier place.

Crouching Scripture - Hidden Agenda

One of the all-time favourites from the bible has got to be the story of Noah and the ark.

You may remember the song about the animals going in two by two, so I won't repeat it here. But after the waters had subsided and things got back to normal, there was an incident which had far-reaching repercussions for one member of the family.

The Curse

"And Ham, the father of Canaan saw the nakedness of his father..." ( Genesis 9:22 KJ )

One day Noah got drunk (demon drink?) and lay down uncovered. Sooner or later one of his sons was bound to come in to Noah's tent (maybe to borrow some money - you know what kids are like) and it was Ham's bad luck to be the one. When Noah recovered from his bender he was full of rage. His anger with Ham knew no bounds and he cursed Ham to be a servant to all, forever.

As David Icke, in his magnificent book 'Children of the Matrix' put it, "What's the big deal?" This was no crime. Surely this event wasn't worth such a vitriolic attack on his own son. Sons have had less than this for smashing up their fathers' cars!

Bloodlines and Aliens

This event led me to do some research on bloodlines because clearly, Ham had seen something he wasn't supposed to. I discovered that Noah belonged to one of 13 specific bloodlines, hybrids from the time of the Anunnaki, who bred with the Cro-Magnon people of the earth.

"The sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair..." ( Genesis 6:2 )

The sons of God were the hybrids who took the Cro-Magnon women as wives and this is where it all began. The bloodlines are still with us today but my point in mentioning them is that they have the reptilian element which was the signature of the Anunnaki who created the hybrids. I believe that Ham saw something "reptilian" in his father as he lay uncovered that fateful day. The following poem comes about as a result of my research so far.

Earth to Earth

You came to Earth
To plunder gold
The legacy you left
Grows old
And repressive

You engineered
Our D.N.A.
To suit your means
So that some day
You'll take by stealth

You own the banks
The stores, the schools
But do not think
Of us as fools
In ignorance

Remember too
That Earth is king
It waits for none
To do its thing
To be reborn

And when our home
Should be renewed
Both yours and ours
Will fight for food
And destiny

Jericho and the Power of the Mind

The Jericho Story

I reckon God had it easy in biblical times. Situations were either black or white. No grey areas. Only one race of people was "chosen" and God was on their side. Nowadays, when two nations go to war, they both claim God is on their side. This puts God in a serious dilemma since they can't both win. What a responsibility!

Most of us have been fed the sanitised version of Joshua and the battle of Jericho, and the rollicking song about the walls "tumbling down". It has been accepted as "business as usual" for the children of Israel, and no one bats an eye about the bloodshed and death that goes with such crusades. A bit like the Middle East today. No change there!

However, I'm not writing this post to moralize but to highlight the psychological aspect of Joshua's success in this campaign, and his hardly-mentioned defeat in the following one.

Mental Preparation

Have you ever witnessed or experienced firewalking or smashed a one inch thick piece of wood with your bare hand. Even comparatively "weak" members of the audience have achieved success here, but I guarantee that if they tried to repeat it at home they would fail. Why? Because the mental preparation would not be in place. At these events the audiences are hyped up to incredible levels. They shout and repeat words of encouragement to the one on the stage. What they are doing in fact is combining their energy and giving it to that special person, to whom victory is the only outcome. The military also use the same technique on their raw recruits. Without it, they would not be able to do the job.

So it was with Joshua and his men before they conquered Jericho. They were hyped up. Their mental preparation was perfect. They could not fail.

The Transgression

"But the children of Israel committed a trespass in the accursed thing..." (Joshua 7:1 King James Version)

It so happened that Joshua's men tried to "take" the city of Ai. It was smaller than Jericho and wouldn't need the same task force or preparation. The result of this campaign was defeat. The men of Israel were chased back to their camp and Joshua "rent his clothes and fell to the earth upon his face..."

The reason given for the defeat was that someone had taken something he wasn't supposed to from Jericho - "the accursed thing", and was made to confess the crime. Have you noticed in politics, there's always a scapegoat when things go wrong.

I reckon this failure was nothing more than bad mental preparation. The battle hype wasn't there. The men of Israel were probably living on past glory, something we would call over-confidence, but with no substance to it. That was the transgression.

When they eventually got it right, they were victorious over the people of Ai. It's all to do with the power of the mind.

More bloodshed!

The Law of Attraction: The Power of Thought

"For whoever has, to him more will be given and he will be furnished richly, so that he will have abundance but from him who has not, even what he has will be taken away."

(Matthew 13:12, Amplified Version)

A Recipe for Disaster

The above quotation from the New Testament used to bug me from time to time. This usually happened when I was reminded, by the media or some pushy charity, that the rich were getting richer and the poor were getting poorer. In those days, being naive, I would fall for the same five-card trick and complain to God about the injustice of it. What a recipe for disaster! The gap between the rich and the poor gets wider and God is giving it the green light? There must be more to it than this. Yes, there is.

Right Thinking

When I discovered the Law of Attraction my eyes were opened and I learned the true meaning of the above words spoken by Jesus. And the words are magnificent! It was no longer a case of cracking the Enigma code for the Law made it crystal clear. For whoever has right thinking, to him more will be given and he will have abundance. This is the essential principle of the Law of Attraction. It's all down to the way we think. If our thoughts are positive we send positive thought-wave energy into the ether and the Law returns it to us as a positive and beneficial manifestation. It cannot fail to do so. In addition, continuous, positive thoughts will bring us even more good things. The scripture is being fulfilled. The reward is always forthcoming.

The Principle in Reverse

Sadly, the same Law works, with equal efficiency, in negative -thinking people. Their negative thoughts are returned to them in malignant ways and they suffer hardship and misery. It cannot be otherwise. And as they continue to think negatively so their problems get worse. They are in a downward spiral and once again, the scripture is being fulfilled. It begins with thoughts and thoughts can be changed.

The Law of Attraction: Job's Real Comforter-

I am reminded by my wife whose blog expertise has reached new heights, that it is not enough to simply post bits of poetry and hope to engage an instant readership. Besides, not everyone appreciates this particular genre, which is a pity because I enjoy writing it. Nevertheless, I shall abide by her advice and offer something more conventional and hopefully, controversial.

In the beginning

Of all the books in the Old Testament, the one which takes pride of place on the podium of pathos has to be the Book of Job. The story of Job is fairly well known. It is a sad account of a wealthy, privileged, though naive man and his family whose fortunes take a severe downturn when God and Satan, between them, arrange for Job's demise. This is when Satan, presumably out of boredom, gatecrashes a private meeting chaired by God, and unbelievably hoodwinks God into handing over Job's fortunes:

"Does Job fear God for nought?" ( Job 1:9 )

The idea is that Job is only a good and godly man because he is so blessed, but turn his fortunes around and he will "curse thee to thy face".

I should say, at this point, that I am writing this on the assumption that you accept that God and Satan exist. I am not making a case either way. If you are a believer, this article will, if nothing else, allow you to think outside the box and look at the whole episode of Job's story in a new light. If you are not a believer, your non-belief may well be justified. At any rate I hope to satisfy everyone's curiosity as to how the Law of Attraction fits into the equation.

Matter and Anti-matter

The most incredible part of this tale is the idea that God and Satan could ever be in the same room at the same time. This must surely be the ultimate in depolarisation of opposites, a coming together of matter and anti-matter which according to science would cause an explosion greater than any supernova. Excuse me? The thought of God and Satan sitting in a celestial, smoked-filled bar with their dry martinis, discussing the fate of Job is too ludicrous for words. And are we also to assume that God is a doddery old man who gives in to the unscrupulous salesman at the door? I think not. If God exists at all, he would have a degree of perception and intuitive skills enough to match his power.

The Law in Operation

The truth is that neither God nor Satan had a hand in Job's problems but Job himself had everything to do with them. His thoughts alone were the real protagonists in his suffering. His thoughts alone were the architects and builders of his misfortunes. His thoughts alone were powerful enough to wreak havoc amongst his family, servants and ultimately himself. It is simply the Law of Attraction at work. Job must surely have considered all he possessed and felt the destructive emotion of guilt and unworthiness. And with these terrible twins came the need for judgment and punishment. This was enough to set the ball rolling. This was sufficient to send a signal into the ether. It was as good as placing an order on the net. The goods could not fail to arrive, and they were devastating. What amazing power Job had! The manifestation of his thoughts were loss of his animals, slaughter of his servants, death of his children by freak weather conditions and an affliction of boils on his own skin.

No change there

What? You think such things don't happen in this day and age? Look around you. Read the papers. Listen to the news on TV. At any hour of the day or night disaster is working its way into someone's life. At any moment in time someone is suffering from aids or cancer or malnutrition or the effects of a hurricane, or a tornado. Whole villages have been wiped out by landslides and tsunamis. I could give a much longer list but I'm hoping that you have understood the point. Things have not changed. The manifestations may be different but the Law is the same.

We all have this power

The truth is, we all have this power and we are using it all the time. But it is our choice as to how it is used. We can go through life thinking negative thoughts. We can complain about the government, the economy, social security, the state of education and there will be plenty of Job's comforters to elaborate on these woes. We can also go through the day telling ourselves that we are unworthy of the good things in life, or that we were born to suffer. What will result from these thoughts should be fairly clear. We have placed our order with the waiter in the restaurant of hell and we shall duly be served with a meal of misery.

The Good News

The good news is - the opposite is equally true. Think positive thoughts and you get positive feedback. Think about good things happening and for you, they will happen. Imagine circumstances turning to your advantage in a job or relationship and you will see amazing results. See yourself in perfect health and that will be your manifestation. You are simply employing the universal Law of Attraction which is perfect. I'm not saying the switch from negative to positive is going to be easy. If you have spent years sending out negative vibrations, you will need to practise sending out positive ones. You can start by learning to love yourself. Can you look at yourself in the mirror and say "I love you"? It's an important step but one which will change your life. It changed the life of Louise Hay and it has changed mine and countless others too.

Interestingly, Job's story ends happily, which means he must have changed his thoughts to positive ones. Anyone can do it. You can dig a pit for yourself or you can climb the golden ladder. The choice is yours.

Where O Grave is Thy Victory?

I suppose it must be me
Nobody else gets choked by it
But then, graves and death
Have lost the power to scare

Can't get them to understand
I don't want another Arlington
With pristine paths and walkways
Or lawns with Regency stripes

The racket compounds the felony
With strimmers fore and mowers aft
Like a bunch of demented hornets
Drowning my peace in formic acid

Where are the wild flowers now?
And the butterflies, bees and birds?
The dead don't sit in judgment
Discussing the state of their abode

Leave it alone! Let it grow!
Let nature work its magic
To the brambles and briars - Welcome!
Don't lose the plot. Take it over!

New broom

Hi, I'm Richard Webb.

I've taken over this Blog ( with Carol's blessing ). She has bigger fish to fry - which is good news for an upwardly mobile Piscean who is up to her gills in serious article writing. It's good news for me too as it gives me a dynamic platform for communication which I hope will work both ways.

A new identity means a new look, with poetry being the main vehicle for my posts. I shall endeavour to use this vehicle to inform, instruct and hopefully entertain you.

Fluoride: An Efficient Rat Poison

Nature provides an edible organic salt which is insoluble in water and assimilable by the human body. This substance, calcium-flouro- phosphate, builds and strengthens our bones and teeth. We all need it, and especially our children because they are constantly growing both tooth and bone. There is no doubt that without this salt the human body would lack strength and tooth decay would be of pandemic proportions.

There is another substance called Sodium Fluoride, a by-product of the aluminium industry, which has been a major pollutant of rivers and streams since 1900. This product is deadly poison, it poisons all animal life that consumes it, even in small quantities it is capable of causing death, and no effective antidote has been found.

The first documented use of sodium fluoride in drinking water was found in Germany's Nazi prison camps. There were are told that allegedly the reason for medicating the water supply was to sterilize women and force the inhabitants of these camps into calm submission. (Ref. book: "The Crime and Punishment of I.G.Farben" by Joseph Borkin)

This same sodium fluoride, which we now drink in the name of fighting tooth decay, has been used as rat poison for nearly 40 years.
"Sodium Fluoride water solutions are the cheapest and most effective rat killers known to chemists: colourless, odourless, tasteless, no remedy, no hope: Instant extermination of rats."....Dr. E.H. Bronner, Mfg.Research Chemist, Los Angeles.) Nephew of Albert Einstein!

We also know that the human body is comprised of 70% water which make it the most beneficial liquid that we can consume. All beverages contain water, however, infusions such as alcohol, tea and coffee also contain strong diuretics which rid the body of water. If we are wise about our water consumption this diuretic effect can be balanced by taking in more water. But what does it mean for our body's when this water that we drink is fluoridated?

Sodium Fluoride cannot be assimilated by the body. It becomes instant poison, because it cannot be eliminated without much extra effort from the kidneys. This means that there is always a build-up in the system. Allegedly kidney patients have died in the same way as rats, because they need to drink a great deal of water to flush out the toxins, a job that their malfunctioning kidneys find impossible. They are consuming a greater quantity of Sodium Fluoride than the average person in a shorter timespan, and some have found the strain on their systems too great.

Far from preserving or promoting 'dental health', fluoridated water destroys teeth, both in children and adults, the destructive mottling and pitting are the first signs of the condition, until complete break down takes place.

We willingly drive a round trip of 80 miles every 2 weeks to collect spring water from a well-known spa town in the U.K. Buying 15 gallons of bottled water would be financially impossible, and we also know that we are putting extra stress on the environment, but compared to our fluoridated tap water, the water that we collect is clear, fresh and sweet, and of course brimming with natural earth energy.

If it is possible for you to collect bacteria free water from a natural source, then I urge you to do it. I have no idea if my intellect is sharper because I don't drink fluoridated tap water, perhaps it is or I wouldn't be inspired to write this article. I do know that sodium fluoride is an ingredient in the drug of choice for depression Prozac, and knowing this fact alone would cause me to examine the truth of this matter.

A Healing Gospel

Once upon a time there were healers in the land.

When someone, person or animal became ill, the healer would be asked to their bedside or shelter. Energy would be channelled, and sometimes the person or animal would regain their health, and sometimes they would die. Death was mourned, but carried no fear, because it was understood that the loved one would always be with the family in spirit.

Nothing remains the same, and healing began to evolve. No longer was the energy of the source considered enough. There came plant healers, religious healers and scientific healers, and out of these came the Doctor, and the most revered was the Doctor. He promised much, and sometimes the person or animal got well, and sometimes they died. Death was mourned, but by now carried great fear, because it was understood that the loved one had gone, and would never be seen or heard from again.

The Religious leaders in the land saw that this situation was harmful, and re-introduced a concept of heaven. If all the family were good and worshipped the right gods, then they would all meet again in heaven to have a family party. If the people refused to bow down to the right god, then they would be separated, with hell being their final reward. Full of fear, the people chose the right god.

The Religious leaders also put their weight behind the Doctors. They feared to allow the free energy given by the source to be used for healing, because they would be discovered as frauds, and would lose their power. They needed the people to do as they were told, and so they invented a Devil who could also heal. The people who used the energy from source were branded: witches, devil worshippers, charlatans, spiritualists and evil doers. Once more the people were afraid.

The power of Religion waxed strong and the Doctors grew stronger by sheltering in religions arms. They became demi-gods to the people, who shunned taking any responsibility for their own well-being. And although many people died from the powerful drugs administered by the Doctors, the people were so afraid that they accepted what was happening, and even thanked the Doctors for their efforts.

The Doctors started to draw attention to their inadequate treatments by killing many and even becoming the cause of disease within their hospitals, but by now most people were in thrall to the Doctors and so too fearful to find the old ways. Just a few began to think for themselves. The Religious leaders and the Doctors saw this and were very afraid, believing that they needed a strategy to maintain their power.

Their best weapon was fear, and fear could be generated by inventing more serious illness, which would then generate more fear, and so the cycle would continue.

More illness meant inventing more drugs with which to heal the people, but by now Doctors had stopped talking about healing and talked instead of managing disease, cure became a nasty word. The whole world of illness had become so great, giving employment to many and riches to some, so that politicians sought to syphon some power for themselves. Whole economies now depended on the people being ill.

As power begot power, more and more companies evolved to manage the the power of illness. The people were poisoned with chemical laden food and water, ensuring that the Doctors would never be without power and employment. The Religious people harking back to their roots thought to improve their congregations by offering healing prayer for the suffering, omitting to teach the healing from source that everyone has access to. Some people were healed by their prayer and many were not, but just enough were healed to spread the belief that they were doing good.

Out of all this came a few people who cried, "enough!"

"We know that healing can be channelled from the source, and we will use it," and so once more healers walked the earth, and the Religious men, the Doctors and the Politicians were very afraid. So afraid, that they changed their tactics and sought to annex the healers into their midst. This they did by using their old ally, fear. They sought to prove that without passing various tests and examinations, and so displaying letters after their names, the healers would be a danger to the people and needed to be shunned and avoided.

There were many healers who longed for the power that the Doctors, Religious and Politicians wealded, and were happy to write examinations and invent spurious tests to deter the natural healer from healing the people. They sought to demand money so that those who believe in fear can display attractive certificates upon their walls, declaring to the world that they are part of a huge healing monopoly, and to join and take a crumb of power will ensure their acceptance by the hegemony that is medicine.

All the powers of the land rejoiced, it seemed that when Princes of the land joined their ranks and spoke of certificates and examinations to enable the healers to enter the world of the hospital, their cup runneth over.

There once more came upon the land healers who know the real source of power, and those healers are spreading their truth, and once more the powerful are afraid.

Harry Potter: Momentous Magic Moments

I am a Harry Potter film fan. I'm old enough to know better, but my inner child enjoys the company of my adult as we watch the special effects with the correct amount of awe and trepidation. We know that Harry is going to come through unscathed because there are three years of filming to go yet, they aren't going to kill him off, and if they do it won't be until the last film. And so cushioned by that fact, we are free to enjoy the thrills, spills and quirky characters.

After the film I analyse the contents. You may think that this is a negative exercise, but it is what I do, it doesn't spoil my enjoyment, and it gives my brain a tough work out.

At the time of writing this article, and influenced by the events of my past week, I have changed my mind about the state of childhood.

Watching Harry fighting evil with the help of the major magicians gathered around him caused me to feel some sorrow that so many children would be influenced by the idea that to survive in this world, you need magic.

My adult self knows full well that I have managed to reach this age without the aid of a broomstick and magic wand, but I also know that I didn't come through unharmed, and listening to my younger clients last week, they haven't come through unharmed either. They need some magic.

There was a smattering of abuse of every kind pouring from the hearts of these precious young people. Whether physical or verbal, abuse causes emotions that cause shorts in the energy highways of the body. Emotional blockages cause illness, phobias, poor academic performance, relationship and discipline issues, all of which I deal with using EFT Tapping, Affirmation and Mirror Work. How weird is that?

One method to address so many different issues goes against everything that science has taught us to believe. Of course, I do use different words for each specific problem, but then Harry's quite good at that, I manipulate the way of energy, well so does Harry, and continue tapping using more well chosen words as a reminder to concentrate on the problem, and I can hear you saying, "so does Harry." And as for repeating an Affirmation and using the mirror to re-program a troubled mind, that seems familiar too.

The result is, illness gone, phobias forgotten, poor academic performance but a bad memory, and greatly enhanced relations with parents, siblings, the world and the self. What is left is a confident child who knows their worth in the world, who knows the meaning of, "I am special because I am me."

Now I am thinking that Harry is right. To put right the wrongs of the world a little bit of magic used in conjunction with some special words comes in very handy when it looks as if Voldemart is coming to get you.

Now that's what I call magic!

Battery Hens Love Their Cells!

It is now official, hens are happy in battery farms.

Scientists have proven this by measuring the amount of corticosterone, a hormone produced in response to stress or fear, in eggs from free- range and caged hens. They found that the levels in both were very similar.

That's fine then, we can all stop concerning ourselves about the 19 million caged hens in Britain who account for 63 per cent of egg production, all of which is presumably consumed by a dis-interested public. I can believe that their are consumers who find it difficult to afford the more expensive free-range or barn egg, I do not believe that approximately 50 per cent of the public cannot afford the few extra pence that it takes to make a hen's life more bearable. There must be millions of people who don't see any advantage in eating a 'happy' egg.

I'm not going to examine the rights or wrongs of animal husbandry, the RSPCA have published adequate material which reiterates common sense. That battery cages are simply unacceptable because they don't satisfy the hen's basic behavioural and physical needs. I want to draw your attention to the quality of food that you put into your body, the quality of vibration.

Everything in the universe vibrates, and mammals vibrate on known vibrational scales measured in Hertz, this is information that can be substantiated by scientists, because it can be measured. Vibrations change under different conditions. When a mammal is under stress, for instance when cows are transported vast distances without fresh air or water, the vibration of fear spreads quickly through the herd. This spreading of vibration is called 'entrainment' and it happens with inanimate objects such as clocks, but more easily with mammals because their aura's interlock, and the lower vibrations, such as fear, are easier to catch. By the time the cow has been thoroughly traumatised by the smell of blood and the knowledge that it is to be ruthlessly slaughtered, the meat is considered fit for human consumption.

The same fear is contaminating our chickens and their eggs. A happy chicken will lay a happy egg, we consume that happy egg and take on those higher vibrations, those high vibrations will then entrain with our bodies to produce happier cells. Happier cells mean less disease.

I don't mean to convey the message that eating only free range products will keep you safe from all disease. There are many other ways that us humans can keep our vibrations high, and if you want to learn about them visit: where you can slowly build up your vibrations, just by reading the free books that you will find there.

Changing Rooms!

Charlotte Perkins Gilman, an early twentieth century American writer, novelist, commercial artist, lecturer and social reformer, was a woman out of time. Her short story 'The Yellow Wallpaper' explores the trauma of her own bout of mental illness and subsequent misguided medical treatment. Her struggle to change both the hideous wallpaper and the treatment that was meted out to her, disguised as care, by the patriarchal medical profession personified by her husband, very nearly caused her to become incurably insane.

Her sister-in-law modelled the ideal of womanhood: "A perfect and enthusiastic housekeeper....I really believe she thinks that writing makes me sick," who is totally in thrall to both brother and brother-in-law, is patronised by them, and so given a lowly place in society. Nevertheless, it was a place, and one that she wouldn't have had without them. Gilman, however, attempts to write without anyone knowing, as being unable to write means submitting to a smothering authority. The effort of being sly or else being met with heavy opposition drains her. All overt opposition slowly saps the energy of any recipient, leaving them exhausted and unable to fight. She cannot change the writing on her walls by her own efforts, so she is left in the uncomfortable situation of having only the old wallpaper to read, finding it repellent and revolting.

This story is about the changing role of womanhood and one woman's struggle to be free. It is, however, the perfect metaphor for the struggle to change the writing on our own walls, or be destined to read the old writing that has been put there by: parents, teachers, newspapers, television, cinema and religion that no longer serves any purpose but to keep us in step with the comfort zones of those that have decorated our walls with their worn out truths. We know by looking at our lives that there is something very wrong, but have we the courage to look and change?

If you want to change the decor of your worn out rooms visit: where you will find strategies that don't require the will-power and self-control that were so blithely prescribed to Gilman as her 'cure'.

First, Do No Harm

Last night on the 10 o'clock news the unemotional voice of a newsreader announced that, "There are now thought to be more autistic children in the U.K. than ever before, 1 in 58 children have been diagnosed with an illness on the wide spectrum of autism." And that was that, no further comment made. I haven't yet seen it picked up in other media for the scandal that it is. One child out of every fifty- eight in this country is unable to communicate, difficult to educate and requires special attention. It wouldn't be so bad if these children would receive special attention, such as one on one education and stimulating therapies, but they don't, parents have to fight tooth and nail for the smallest amount of help, and then it is woefully inadequate. This is one more example of inventing a disease, publicising it until all possible symptoms are detailed and the child is given a label, and there it sticks, ignored. I have even heard parents pleased that their child has been 'diagnosed', because they really believe that the authorities will now do something for their child. There must be a few disappointed, disillusioned parents struggling to cope up and down this country, now that their child has been labelled for life, and for what, for their child to underachieve and become more alienated than they would ever have been without the diagnosis.

It feels like there is a conspiracy happening around the British Public. The medical profession profess to have all the answers, advertise themselves as being experts at curing all sorts of in-curable diseases, which of course they are unable to do, but effectively stop anyone from using techniques that are seeing good results because they haven't been properly quantified, and of course they may not work. If their results proved to be better I would happily subscribe to their methods, if their drugs didn't have such horrible side effects, I would take their drugs, because in the end the human race is pragmatic, it collectively knows when something is good. This is a cry from the heart. The next generation is wasting away, at least take an open minded look at what is going on around you.

I cannot explain why, I only know that Emotional Freedom Techniques are working with these autistic children, that parents who will do anything to allow their children to live a better quality of life are seeing results. And what are we working with here: soft toys, tapping points sometimes nutrition and education. Parents are being taught techniques that don't cost huge sums of money, and the whole family is gaining a sense of well being. No form of medication is ever taken, and therefore nothing harmful can ever happen to the child, a working out of the first clause of the Hippocratic Oath taken by Doctor's to : First, do no harm. A clause that might stick in the throat's of Doctors who: and I quote, "I'm too busy to bother with weird protocols." even though they might work.

Word Power

Pete Seeger song taken from the Bible: Ecclesiastes chapter3 v1-8

To every thing, turn, turn, turn

There is a season, turn, turn, turn

And a time to every purpose under heaven

A time to be born, a time to die

A time to plant, a time to reap

A time to kill
, a time to heal

A time to laugh, a time to weep

To everything, turn, turn, turn

There is a season, turn, turn, turn

And a time to every purpose under heaven

A time to build up, a time to break down

A time to dance, a time to mourn

A time to cast away stones

A time to gather stones together

To everything, turn, turn, turn

There is a season, turn, turn, turn

And a time to every purpose under heaven

A time of love
, a time of hate

A time of war, a time of peace

A time you may embrace

A time to refrain from embracing

To everything, turn, turn, turn

There is a season, turn, turn, turn

And a time to every purpose under heaven

A time to gain, a time to lose

A time to rend, a time to sew

A time to love,
a time to hate

A time for peace, I swear it's not too late

Pete Seeger wrote this song in the late 1950s, and I am one of the many people whose mind was conditioned by these words. Now commonly called 'Baby Boomers', we relished the idea that words from the Bible could be used to stop war, and secretly wanted to be one of those 'hippies' that were seen on television, stoned out of their minds, but looking happy as they gave flowers to policemen. My parents were horrified about the whole situation and vilified Bob Dylan for telling us young people that our parent's no longer had any control over us. Of course, this made the parents work even harder at keeping control and many teenagers suffered badly throughout those years. We blamed our parents for their authoritarian attitudes, the cockiness of youth never stopping to analyse the lives that our parents had led. We knew that they were wrong. All the while these songs were played on our 'Dansette' record players left on the repeat setting. We wanted to show the older generation that we could quote from the Bible that they loved to quote at us. Even though my own parent's weren't church goers, they still knew what the Bible said, and it said that we had to respect the authority of our parents. They were right, the Bible does say this. We didn't know it at the time, but we were confused young people. We had been brainwashed, and many of us are still brainwashed today. It is still heresy in some families to criticise the Bible, because the importance of the written word, and the spoken word, and even the sung word are disregarded as unimportant, and we need to change this perception. There is never a time to kill, there is never a time to hate and no-one ever needs to refrain from embracing another human being. To believe that there is ever a time for war is beyond belief, the world is one, we never need to fight one another, there are far more powerful ways to live in harmony with our neighbours.

These words were written by religious zealots who feared being controlled by other nations and tribes, and yet thousands of years later we still repeat them like a mantra. A time to hate is a curse put upon the people. Hating someone is the same as drinking a cup of poison and expecting the other person to drop dead, it will never happen. If we want our lives to be peaceful, loving and filled with the love of others we need to learn how to forgive, a word not mentioned in the song.

The Byrds took up the mantra from Pete Seeger, The Seekers, Dolly Parton and in 2006 Bruce Springsteen added his authority to these beliefs. There is now a young generation of believers who can't see anything wrong with invading other countries to put right perceived wrongs. Young people that aren't taught that they are all powerful, that they need fear no-one or no-thing, this true belief would not serve the war mongers who believe that fighting is the way to steal a needed commodity or space. As a race we are in need of a complete makeover in our belief systems. It can be done, all it needs is personal courage and knowledge.

If you want to start your personal makeover visit: where you will find all the keys to open the doors to your peaceful kingdom.

How to unblock 'Writer's Block'

All writers seem to suffer blocks at inconvenient times. You need to sit down and blog, and you can't think of anything remotely interesting to write about. The pressure is on you, because you know that you must write content at least three times a week to keep your audience. Some people work well under pressure, but if you're one of those people who didn't do well in exams, and I'm one of them, you need a strategy. You might get inspiration from reading someone else's work, or you could go and put the kettle on, or you might decide that you're hungry and a sandwich beckons. All these strategies have been known to work, but now every writer can tap into the power of tapping. This is one part of the Emotional Freedom Techniques arsenal that I wouldn't be without. If you are new to tapping meridian points, then please go to my web site and download my free guide to 'Beginner's EFT' "" an easy read that guides you through the places that you need to tap on, and if you still aren't sure there is a video link that you can copy.

I use the Karate Chop point for my set-up statement:
"Even though I can't think of anything to write about now, I love and accept myself", do this three times.
As my reminder statement I use:
"Words won't come."
I tap...Top of the head, corner of eye, outside eye, under eye, under nose, chin and collar bone.
You will then find that something will just 'pop' into your head, and if you don't like what you write, do it again until you do.

The Roots of Fathers Day

We had Father's Day in England last Sunday, and I suppose I took it for granted that it was another American tradition, that for commercial reasons, had crossed the pond, and I really didn't want to subscribe to that. I therefore have to admit that when the children were growing up I really begrudged having to spend precious grocery money on cards and presents that my husband either didn't want or need. But now that the children are grown and we are grandparents, I look back and shudder at my cold blooded attitude to what has become a joyous occasion.

The birthplace of Father's Day in America is Fairmont, West Virginia. In 1908, more than 1,000 were newly fatherless, their lives blown apart a few months earlier in nearby Monongah by the worst coal mining disaster in American history. Of the 361 men killed in the blast on Dec. 6, 1907, some 250 were fathers. One daughter created Father's Day to remember and honour these men by a special holiday and we are still honouring our father's a hundred years later, and long may the tradition continue.

From somewhere in her heart our daughter decided to honour her father by visiting, bringing a beautiful card and baking him a wonderful cake, and I bless her for this. My husband's face was a picture that I don't think I will forget in a long time. She treasures the time that she has with her father, and now happily entrusts her daughter's well being to him whenever she can. My own father died at the early age of 58, and I think that she is aware that time is precious, and every kindness that she shows is her way of giving us positive energy. In the best way that we can, we too allow positive energy to flow, we have learned how to love unconditionally. This wasn't an easy lesson to learn as both my husband and I were brought up in homes where criticism was the norm, and so we became highly critical of our own children, but persistent personal work has brought us to a different place.

If there is one lesson that I would teach the world if I could, it would be learn to love unconditionally, do you know, I think that this would solve all the world's problems, and families of love would spread their light, willingly honouring their parents and loving themselves.

If you want to learn how to love unconditionally visit:

J.K.Rowling - Write Me a Hero

You can almost feel the excitement building across the English speaking world. The last instalment of J.K.Rowling's Harry Potter series of books is due in the bookshops on the 12th July, and I'm just as excited as anyone else. I can't wait to read the last exploits of the young wizard, although I do feel some concern about his formal education. It's all very well being a master of the dark arts, but these days you need to be able to put a sentence together and have a working knowledge of the basics of good nutrition, something that Hogwarts seems to have placed very little importance on.

Why is it that we all love to read or watch magical exploits? Why are we so ready to escape into another world of fantasy exploits, dragon slaying and creating a world where it is safe to live? What's so wrong with this one?

The world is a beautiful place, look around, take stock. Even challenging landscapes such as the Gobi Desert, and arid stretches of Africa have some natural beauty, and frozen mountains tower over the lowlands with magisterial grandeur, tempting those with climbing skills to conquer them and see the world from another perspective. We know that many have lost their lives whilst trying to achieve this feat, but I doubt if they would regret their chosen deaths They died looking for another perspective. And this is what the world of magic gives us, another perspective on life.

Harry Potter takes us away from all the man made squalor that many have to endure, where heavy industry blights the land with chemicals and pollution, into a green and beautiful landscape where your only foe is supernatural. You might encounter a troll or a gigantic spider, a troublesome but loveable gnome, or a giant snake who all require special skills to rid your beautiful country from their unwanted presence. Yes, Harry Potter comes from the same mould as King Arthur, St. George, Superman, Captain Picard and Philip Pullman's Lyra, they are archetypal heroes and we love them. Their prowess is etched into the collective psyche. They give us all hope that one day, because of these wonderful characters, we will wake up in Utopia or Nirvana or wherever you believe that a peaceful beautiful world exists. They do not teach us how to create this world for ourselves, a task that the human race is more than capable of completing, in fact they teach us that they can only achieve their goals because they are special, unlike their ordinary companions who need to rely on them to 'bring them through'.

This is where their message is challenging. We all have their innate powers, we are all magicians and we can all create the world in which we live. It isn't what we've been taught, and it certainly doesn't give us the wild adrenaline rushes that we've become addicted to; it does make for a healthier life.

If you want to know how to create a peaceful life visit my website at: and begin the journey of your lifetime.

Paul Potts- Good Vibrations

Lying on my bed, weary from pounding the streets of London and flicking through the television programmes I stumbled on a talent show. I normally give these things a wide berth, but something about this stocky young man in a crumpled suit with a too short haircut made me pause, and I'm happy that I did. When he opened his mouth to sing, his face changed, he became beautiful, he shone, and I became transfixed.

Nessun Dorma has longed ceased to be one of my favourite operatic pieces, ever since it was done to death by football and constant exposure, but I was surprised to find tears rolling down my face. It wasn't the words, I don't speak Italian anyway, it was the soul of this Welsh man soaring into the realms of spirituality, we were blessed by the glimpse of a higher being, and I can't wait to hear him again because I want to experience the same feelings, and join with the vibration that raises my own vibration, I want to entrain with this man's soul. He probably doesn't know it but he has healing in his voice, and as such is very rare indeed.

Paul Potts has been challenged by illness and pulled through when many have laid down and died, and I admire him for that, but I suspect his enthusiasm for life was fuelled by the belief that he could bring pleasure to millions. That belief in the purpose of his life, that so many of us struggle to find, has proven to be his salvation, and perhaps ours if we are able to learn from his example.

We each have an inbuilt talent, many people have more than one, and many of us don't bother to use them because we don't believe in the healing properties of those talents. Talents allow us to create our own lives as we would choose to live them, we no longer live by reacting to the expectations of others, and because of this we vibrate on much higher frequencies.
Talent brings freedom!

Alli - Your Partner in a Pill

Hot news from Big Pharma, a new drug called Alli (pronounced Al-Eye) is launched with great fanfare and much applause. This drug has been approved by the FDA, and may be freely sold without prescription in the U.S.A. The pill will earn its designers millions of dollars through selling the promise of easy weight loss to overweight adults who believe that it is impossible for them to lose their excess pounds in any other way.

Alli, your partner in a pill, is meant to be taken three times a day with fat containing meals, but the fat content is best kept at no more than 15 grams because of the unwanted side effects, referred to as treatment effects in the marketing material. These promise to make your life very miserable, and include: Gas with an oily anal discharge, loose stools or diarrhoea, more frequent bowel movements and hard to control bowel movements. Alli won't even help you to lose great amounts of weight , perhaps just a few pounds more than you would lose with an ordinary diet and exercise programme, and there haven't been that many studies done to substantiate this small weight loss. Most of the weight loss estimates have been based on studies conducted with its prescription strength counterpart Xenical. Studies with this drug showed that just 6lbs. extra could be lost in one year, and then only if a diet and exercise programme was followed at the same time, which means that a meagre 3lbs. extra can be lost by taking Alli.

All this is very frightening, because these are the side effects that are openly disclosed, there will be others that either haven't shown themselves yet, or that we haven't been told about. And this doesn't have to be!

From the medical point of view, there is nothing else that will cure obesity, and just losing weight is the answer, when we know that weight loss alone doesn't begin to address the problem of obesity. Huge weight losses in short periods of time will only result in larger gains over even shorter time spans, putting great strain on the heart and other internal organs. This is the loss and gain cycle experienced by every dieter in the world. It is time to call a halt to this insanity and understand the true cause of weight gain; our emotions. Only when the true causes are addressed, and this is done beautifully by Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), we no longer have the desire to consume huge amounts of comfort food and poisoned junk, learn to eat good food in the right quantity and learn to feel good about ourselves, will all this obesity nonsense become yesterday's news.

For the pharmaceutical companies Emotional Freedom Techniques will never be an option, as they can't be patented, never produce the side effects that require the consumption of more drugs, and can be learned from easily obtained affordable literature. All qualities that the medical establishment abhor, and therefore feel that it is there duty to warn patients against.

It is time for thinking people to take a stand, those extra pounds are not a medical issue. Learn these free techniques and take back the responsibility for your own well-being. I promise you that the side effect will be a healthier bank balance and a happier you.

Wakey Wakey!!

What Will happen In 2012

is a vast amount of information on the web about what is going to happen in the year 2012.

Yes it's the year that the Mayan calender stops, but that really doesn't mean a great deal, just that the Mayan's didn't feel that they needed to go any further with their calculations just before their civilization came to it's end. After all, we don't find any 2008 calenders in the shops right now do we? It doesn't mean that we think that the world will end next year.

What Is Happening To The Earth
I believe that it may be more serious than that, and that we all need to take notice of what is happening to the Earth. Some things are inexplicable by science, but are being measured, plus the many things that can be explained by science and are also measurable.

Shifting Poles
We know that the magnetic poles have shifted at least three times in the life of the Earth that we know about, we know that great tidal waves have devastated great swathes of coastal land, we know that Greenland is melting so that sea levels will rise and we know that the Earth is heating up. All these phenomena have happened before, they will happen, and are happening again.

What Religions Tell Us

From what we are told by the Major religions, we humans need to understand that there will be cataclysms, and that much life will be wiped out, animal as well as human, and we need to be ready to suffer great deprivation caused by volcanic explosions, earthquakes and tidal waves which in turn cause starvation and great suffering.

The Bible certainly spells out in great detail what is going to happen in the seven last years, unless of course you accept Jesus as your Saviour and then you will be raptured, taken up into heaven and live happily ever after, the poor souls that are left will suffer immeasurably. And unless you are someone of great religious faith reading this, that's you and me.

I have never been able to accept the concept of a Christian God as an old man needing to be worshipped, and getting angry and punishing the humans when he wasn't and his commandments weren't kept. This concept reminds me of Roman gods, who were actually capable of jealousy.

Spirit vs. Religion
This doesn't however mean that I haven't any spiritual beliefs, I do hold to the knowledge of spiritual power, a non-judgemental power that holds the blueprint of exactly what we humans are capable of, is always there, and is there for everyone, and we only need to accept that power into our own lives to live a beautiful life.

We Are Not Doomed
I don't believe that I am doomed, I know that I am energy and that it is impossible to destroy energy, and I will exist in some form after the death of my spiritual body. It doesn't mean that I can carry on living in the way that is portrayed in the media though, especially television, which delights in bringing stories of violence, anger, jealousy, hatred and everything in- between into our lives and portraying this as how life is.
Voice In The Wilderness
I am a voice crying in the wilderness when I say, this is not how life is, this is drama, the drama that creates addiction, the drama that causes great shots of adrenaline to pump around the body, the drama that causes bodies to succumb to sickness. It means that I need to change my life in order to live a spiritual one, I need to vibrate on a higher frequency.

Schumann Frequency
The vibration frequency of the Earth is called “Schumann frequency”, named for the scientist who quantified it.

This frequency acts like a coordination signal for life on Earth. In the natural evolution transition that planet Earth is currently living, the vibration frequency is raised from 7.83 Hz (theta) towards 13 Hz (alpha), i.e. towards a greater state of harmony.

The human brain is sensitive to those frequencies and the synchronization of many peoples’ evolution path is also oriented towards a state of emotional and global health, consciousness awakening, peace, unification of humanity-spirituality of our Being nature and a higher state of harmony.
This is what we need to aim for to keep pace with the Earth, or all the doom and gloom stories will be true for us!

DNA Evolution?
At the moment we are functioning using three strands of DNA, a three dimensional life, we need thirteen strands of DNA to move into multi-dimensional space, and it looks like we've got about five years to get there. This is a wake-up call.

Bent Spoon!

Look what I did, and I'm so pleased that I have. I watched Uri Geller do this many times when I was a child but my mother wouldn't let me try with her spoons! I probably couldn't have done it then anyway because it's all about channelling energy and he didn't explain that when he was doing his tricks. I also wondered if I could have done it with brute strength and so I chose a thick spoon that wouldn't bend for me. Perhaps a stronger person could have done it without running energy but I'm a small woman, with very small hands and only average muscle power, and I promise I couldn't bend it. However, just in case anyone thought that I could, I twisted it too. There is only a 30 second window, and you have to catch it then and do it, but oh what a feeling! I keep looking at it and telling myself, "I did that, and if I can do that I can do anything." Energy is energy, the same energy that did this can heal, something that has been second nature for many years now, but I've never actually been able to demonstrate that energy in such a physical way.

Of course I have to temper this enthusiasm with the knowledge that I was using Universal energy, and merely getting out of the way to allow the energy to pass through me, but this in itself is a valuable lesson. Look what happens when you get yourself out of the way!!

Love, oh Love, oh Perfect Love!

Every now and again information comes your way that gives you a great feeling. This information heard me saying out loud...."there, I knew that this would be common knowledge one day." This is science catching up with what I have 'known' for years. I'm going to include all three bits of research, hoping that all the doubters will now at least have some second thoughts. Here we go..................

Quantum Physics Reveals The Key to Success In Your Life
Evidently you don’t have to be a rocket scientist to understand that scientists are finally admitting that everything is based on consciousness. You as the observer are influencing what you observe. It simply means there is no objective reality - just the opposite of what we were all taught in school.

For the first time in history, science is able to provide the evidence of what mystics and enlightened people have claimed through the ages. “Your thoughts create your reality and what you experience!”

The first experiment reported was done by Dr.Vladimir Poponin, a quantum biologist. In this experiment, first a container was emptied (i.e. a vacuum was created within it), and then the only thing left photons (particles of light) they measured the distribution (i.e. the location) of the photons and found they were completely random inside the container. This was the expected result.

Then some DNA was placed inside the container and the distribution (location) of the photons was re-measured. This time the photons were LINED UP in an ORDERED way and aligned with the DNA. In other words the physical DNA had an effect on the non- physical photons.

After that, the DNA was removed from the container, and the distribution of the photons was measured again. The photons REMAINED ORDERED and lined up where the DNA had been. What are the light particles connected to?

We are forced to accept the possibility that some NEW field of energy, a web of energy, is there and the DNA is communicating with the photons through this energy.

These were experiments done by the military. Leukocytes (white blood cells) were collected for DNA from donors and placed into chambers so they could measure electrical changes. In this experiment, the donor was placed in one room and subjected to "emotional stimulation" consisting of video clips, which generated different emotions in the donor. The DNA was placed in a different room in the same building. Both the donor and his DNA were monitored and as the donor exhibited emotional peaks or valleys (measured by electrical responses), the DNA exhibited the IDENTICAL RESPONSES AT THE EXACT SAME TIME. There was no lag time, no transmission time. The DNA peaks and valleys EXACTLY MATCHED the peaks and valleys of the donor in time.

The military wanted to see how far away they could separate the donor from his DNA and still get this effect. They stopped testing after they separated the DNA and the donor by 50 miles and STILL had the SAME result. No lag time; no transmission time.

The DNA and the donor had the same identical responses in time. What can this mean? My interpretation is that it means that living cells communicate through a previously un-recognized form of energy. This energy is not affected by time and distance. This is a non- local form of energy, an energy that already exists everywhere, all the time.

The third experiment was done by the Institute of Heart Math and the paper that was written about this was titled: Local and Non local Effects of Coherent Heart Frequencies on Conformational Changes of DNA. (Disregard the title! The info is incredible.)

This is the experiment that relates directly to the anthrax situation. In this experiment, some human placenta DNA (the most pristine form of DNA) was placed in a container from which they could measure changes in the DNA. Twenty-eight vials of DNA were given (one each) to 28 trained researchers. Each researcher had been trained how to generate and FEEL feelings, and they each had strong emotions.

What was discovered was that the DNA CHANGED ITS SHAPE according to the feelings of the researchers:
1. When the researchers FELT gratitude, love and appreciation, the DNA responded by RELAXING and the strands unwound. The length of the DNA became longer.

2. When the researchers FELT anger, fear, frustration, or stress, the DNA responded by TIGHTENING UP. It became shorter and SWITCHED OFF many of our DNA codes! If you've ever felt "shut down" by negative emotions, now you know why your body was equally shut down too. The shut down of the DNA codes was reversed and the codes were switched back on again when feelings of love, joy, gratitude and appreciation were felt by the researchers.

This experiment was later followed up by testing HIV positive patients. They discovered that feelings of love, gratitude and appreciation created 300,000 TIMES the RESISTANCE they had without those feelings. So here's the answer to what can help you stay well, no matter what dreadful virus or bacteria may be floating around. Stay in feelings of joy, love, gratitude and appreciation!

These emotional changes went beyond the effects electro- magnetics. Individuals trained in deep love were able to change the shape of their DNA. We are seeing here an illustration of a new recognized form of energy that connects all of creation. This energy appears to be a TIGHTLY WOVEN WEB that connects all matter. Essentially we're able to influence this web of creation through our VIBRATION.

SUMMARY: What do the results of these experiments have to do with our present situation? This is the science behind how we can choose a time line to stay safe, no matter what else is happening. {{{{As Gregg explains in The Isaiah Effect, basically time is not just linear (past, present and future), but it also has depth. The depth of time consists of all the possible prayers and time lines that could ever be prayed or exist. Essentially, all our prayers have already been answered. We just activate the one we're living through our FEELINGS.}}}}

I've left bracketed paragraph in because the author is keen to promote a book by Gregg Braden who is obviously into religious prayer, and this is where I lose sympathy with what is being said.

I had a look at the Book of Isaiah and the Dead Sea Scroll translation, and was horrified at all the negativity that came from the page. If the Essene's actually wrote this down then they were predicting their own demise. This does not describe the 'God' that I know. My 'God' (If I must use that word) is not vindictive, does not require grovelling to so as to fulfil our spiritual needs and certainly doesn't get angry if we don't obey him.

THIS is how we create our reality - by choosing it with our feelings. Our feelings are activating the time line via the web of creation, which connects all of the energy and matter of the Universe.

Remember that the law of the Universe is that we attract what we focus on. If you are focused on fearing whatever may come, you are sending a strong message to the Universe to send you whatever you fear. Instead if you can get yourself into feelings of joy, love, appreciation or gratitude, and focus on bringing more of that into your life, you are going to avoid the negative stuff automatically.

You will be choosing a different TIME LINE with your feelings. You can prevent getting anthrax or any other flu, virus, etc, by staying in these positive feelings, which maintains an incredibly strong immune system. So here's your protection for whatever comes: Find something to be happy about every day, and every hour if possible, moment-to- moment, even if only for a few minutes. This is the easiest and best protection you can have. If nothing else, be joyous that the criminals have "already been caught" by the Universe!

All we have to do now is to learn how to 'Love' everyone and everything. I have started by learning to love myself.

Look Before You Leap

A few days ago a dear friend 'phoned to tell me that their boundary dispute with a multi-national building firm had resulted in them having to pay out some thousands of pounds in court fees. What a shock for them, and of course the question is why? They aren't financially strained, but they aren't rich, and the tone of the letter from the building firm was positively gloating. They are well aware that my friend and her husband don't have access to high powered lawyers, as they do, they are also aware that should my friend fight and lose then they might be in an even worse mess. A nasty situation to be in, and naturally the man of the house is very angry, wants to fight but knows that he can't, he has engineered himself into a situation of powerlessness, and now has bronchitis. The bronchitis is easily understood, he is so angry that he can't breath. He is being stifled by his anger. We know very well that this building firm is to blame, and wants them to go away and think about their actions and to come back in a more conciliatory frame of mind. He knows that they aren't going to do that, so the only thing left to do is send them hateful thoughts, then something nasty might happen to them, and that would serve them right. However, the laws of the Universe don't work like that. Sending out hateful thoughts is like drinking a cup of poison and expecting the other person to drop dead. Somehow, my friend's husband has to 'forgive' these monsters of commerce, send them love and kind thoughts. You might rightly say..."In your dreams", there's no way that is going to happen. And it won't, and he'll continue to be ill, and his work will suffer, and then the family will suffer, but it won't be his fault because this filthy firm did the dirty on him, and now look what's happened. It never rains but that it pours.

Let's look at the reasons why this has happened to them. Either he, my friend or both of them together believed that this firm would play dirty with them. They watched houses being built that would encroach on their view and took a chunk of their garden too. They new that this building was going to take place when they bought the house and signed the contract, therefore their solicitor must have conspired with their thinking when he made a hash of the boundary contract, their vibration drew a fellow believer to them. Birds of a feather flock together. Before undertaking any business, check to find out how you are vibrating, what your thoughts are, and what words you are talking to yourself. Make sure that you have cleared all past writing on your walls that tells you, "All big companies are out to get you." If you're not sure tap on that statement and then Affirm that "All business people are on my side, all is well in my world." Do this before any signing takes place, because if you don't you will find yourself in the same situation as my friend, and what they need to do now sticks in all their throats.

In a mood of quiet contemplation, starting with the Karate Chop point make an 'even though I hate these people for what they've done to me' statement, and do a few rounds of tapping on that. Then move to a place where you are willing to forgive them all for what they have done, and of course you need to forgive yourself, because you 'should have known'. I know that my friend will do this because she knows that forgiving yourself and forgiving everyone is a key to a brighter future. Whether her husband will see the need to do this remains to be seen, and of course his illness will continue to lower his vibrations even further. I await future developments with trepidation.

Getting Yourself Listed at BlogCatalog

Listen to Intuition

Every so often there is a choice to be made and you follow your intuition, and in this case, I'm glad I did.

New to Blogging

I am very new to blogging, and still finding my way around, but I wanted to publicise my web site, because my mission is to turn the world on to EFT or Emotional Freedom Techniques, where everyone can help themselves with anything from a relationship problem to the common cold.
Getting People to Read

I knew that publishing my own web site was a good idea, but then how to get people to read it? This was not going to be so easy.
SEO Know How
Many of my colleagues have web sites that are unlisted in Google because they don't realise that search engine optimisation is important, and so they don't create the links that create the ranking, obviously they aren't getting traffic from people who are just interested in a subject, and I wanted that traffic.

BlogCatalog a Good Start

I looked around for ways to make my blog more interesting and came across several blog listing sites, and without thinking about it (intuition?) I joined them, and they all have good points, but BlogCatalog has surpassed them all.
Favourable Comment

The first time that someone read my blog and actually left a favourable comment was so exciting, it was like I'd made it. My common sense tells me that there is still so much to do, but that first reading was a high point.

I have saved all the messages that I have received about this exercise in linking from BlogCatalog, and intend to visit every site, and perhaps leave a comment if I know anything about the subject, or even if I don't!!
